It's been one year full of amazing ride for Indoestri Makerspace as we turned 1 last November!
To celebrate our first anniversary, we choose #IndoestriSophomoreYear as the big theme for our signature event, the 3rd Indoestri Day which was held on Friday - Saturday, December 11th - 12th 2015
To generate the Self Made spirit from our visitor, this year we provide more interaction with the makers as we gathered Indoestri instructors and makers for a live demo session which aim to inspire public to appreciate the process of making things. Visitors can enjoy various live demo session and an inspiring 1 on 1 conversation with the makers at our workshop.
During our live demo session, we have Ukulele Making by Andy Mahardika, Leather polish and treatment by Nicolas Thoe from Zayn Wood & Leather, Jewelry Making by Natalie Idessia, Letterpress Demo by KYUB Design & Print, Starwars Halo Project by Leonard Theosabrata of OWND, Gas Tank Making by Rawk & Rawl Garage, and Kliping activity by our partner KOMPAS
Beside live demo, Pasar Indoestri was held at our cafe Dawn and Willow which provided such a great ambience with many local brands who share the same Self Made spirit with us showcasing their works to the public. This year's Pasar Indoestri tenants are coming from fashion & living brands like Kana Goods, IMAJI Studio, Ayu Larasati Ceramics, Fabrik + Ink, KYUB Design and Print, Puru Craft, We are the People to amazing food & beverage brands like Rollingpin Cake, Pokkonya Popsicle, Choulete Pastry, Coffee Smith, and Minime.
On our first anniversary, we also launched our new Limited Access Membership Card. Benefit of having this card is 40% disc off for all Indoestri Makerspace workshop valid for one year. We're very grateful for the participation and support towards our third Indoestri Day. Such an overwhelming experience seeing new and familiar faces supporting our journey.
