Glass Box Making

Join Patricia Untario, a glass artist with more than a decade of experience in making glass installations, at the upcoming Glass Box Making workshop, where you get to experience the entire making process of a glass box, from cutting, the copper foil technique, to assembling and finishing. Patricia and the Indoestri Team will be there to guide you from beginning to end throughout the process. A long process, but definitely satisfying and fulfilling, and best part, you get to bring home the final product at the end of the day.

The workshop will be conducted in Bahasa Indonesia. English speakers may receive assistence in English.

• Learn about the basic tools used in glasswork and where to get them
• Learn to cut glass using a glass cutter (cutting a sheet of glass into the shapes you want)
• Knowledge on the different glass forms and applications — the different things you can do with glass
• Learn about the copper foil technique, wrapping sides with copper tape
• Assembling of glass box by soldering all the taped corners (super satisfying part of the process!)
• Your own glass box that you will be making from scratch, with finishing

• We do not offer refunds, but good news, your seat is fully transferable. Get a friend to attend the workshop instead. Email or give us a call to give us an update
• Although very few of our workshops are canceled, Indoestri Makerspace reserves the right to cancel a workshop if it has not enrolled enough participants. In the event that a workshop is cancelled, you will be notified via email and entitled to a full refund.
• Participants must agree to give Indoestri Makerspace unrestricted publishing rights for any pictures or footages that are taken during the workshop session.
• Individuals participating in Indoestri Makerspace workshops must take on full responsibility for any risks, injury or damages, which he/she might incur as a result in participating the in the workshop.
