Handmade Paper Making

The best way to recycle old paper.. is to make new paper! Take paper you don’t use anymore, scraps of paper, or marked up pages and get the full experience of making your own paper from scratch. From pulp to useable paper! It is definitely a rewarding experience, with lots of patience and care required, so join us at our makerspace and have some fun with it! Explore how one of the most ubiquitous materials — Paper — are made!

The workshop will be conducted in Bahasa Indonesia. English speakers may receive assistence in English.

• Explore the process of making paper by hand with two different materials: recycled paper and natural fiber
• Understand the different tools and materials used in paper making
• Do pulp preparation using various different materials tools provided
• Create different colors of pulp using a variety of dyes
• Make your own handmade paper from scratch and explore the possibilities of embedding materials like threads, leaves, and even dried flowers onto their paper.

• We do not offer refunds, but good news, your seat is fully transferable. Get a friend to attend the workshop instead. Email or give us a call to give us an update
• Although very few of our workshops are canceled, Indoestri Makerspace reserves the right to cancel a workshop if it has not enrolled enough participants. In the event that a workshop is cancelled, you will be notified via email and entitled to a full refund.
• Participants must agree to give Indoestri Makerspace unrestricted publishing rights for any pictures or footages that are taken during the workshop session.
• Individuals participating in Indoestri Makerspace workshops must take on full responsibility for any risks, injury or damages, which he/she might incur as a result in participating the in the workshop.
