Metalworking 101: Lamp

“What does a lamp say when it sees its friend? Watts up?!” Oh wait just kidding, lamps can’t talk.

This metalworking 101 workshop sure will delight you (pun intended) because this course is a compact know-how into the world of metalworking. You will learn the techniques to bending and welding metal and bring home your own #SelfMade metal lamp at the end of the day!

The workshop will be conducted in Bahasa Indonesia. English speakers may receive assistence in English.

• Experience cutting metal using metal cutting machineries at the makerspace
• Knowledge and hands-on experience on bending both metal pipe and metal sheet
• Skills on drilling, welding (joining two pieces of metal), and grinding (produce fine finishing and accurate dimensions)
• Techniques on painting metal using spray paint
• Assembly of lamp (both metal and wood)
• Manual assembly of the electronic components of the lamp

• Although very few of our workshops are canceled, Indoestri Makerspace reserves the right to cancel a workshop if it has not enrolled enough participants. In the event that a workshop is cancelled, you will be notified via email and entitled to a full refund.
• Participants must agree to give Indoestri Makerspace unrestricted publishing rights for any pictures or footages that are taken during the workshop session.
• Individuals participating in Indoestri Makerspace workshops must take on full responsibility for any risks, injury or damages, which he/she might incur as a result in participating the in the workshop.
